Harissa is believed to have originated in Tunisia, Northern Africa.  It is a spice blend made with serrano and cayenne peppers, garlic, caraway, coriander, and cumin, which are pounded together into a paste.  This olive oil is one of the spiciest in our collection and a favorite among spice lovers.

Use this oil in your favorite Middle Eastern dishes like lamb, chicken, shawarma, tagines, couscous, and hummus. 

Add to glazed carrots, chickpeas, Indian dahl and Southwestern dishes.

Pairs well with mangos, peaches, apricots, pistachios, sweet potatoes, lemon, eggplant, lamb, shrimp, or prawns.
